I've been playing this game for around 3 months, albeit very casually and in short bursts, but I'm very disenchanted with the game. There's very little options for you in order to get coins, the good characters are all locked behind steep and hard to achieve milestones. What i do notice is a character purely locked behind a paywall that would make the game sufficiently easier to farm coins for unlocking other characters. Core gameplay is good, nice visuals, but it becomes a bore soon after.

It's a fun game but seems slow on progress. The reward for runs is rather low, that you'll either have to play loads or spend money to get the unlocks. Found the difficulty scale a little oddly. One run can be smooth sailing then one basic encounter takes you out with you having a chance. Also had a few times where I'm on the perfect run. And I have just lost the game, no reason to it. Was on the 3rd map fighting the boss. 2 turns from winning, on my turn I get the game over screen. No idea Y

Great game at its core. But the progress is virtually non existent so it finds itself becoming incredibly repetitive. It feels as though it was originally designed as a free to play game and they made a late decision to charge for it, but didn't change the in game economy or progression system. It's not that the game is too difficult. Just that the rewards aren't enough
