This app is now dire! It does not work on Android 12 device (Ulefone) as it now locks up the device, so have to shutdown and reboot the device. HiLook is working fine on Android 12. No problems on iOS 17xx on either of the HiLook or Hikvision apps. This is not the first time the Hik-Connect app has fallen over on an Android device. Update as of May 2025, this app yet again after an update fails to work and bricked my Android v12 device. You have to hard reboot. App not usable at all.

Very good, no real problems with the app. Notifications, playback all good. One suggestion would be to have an option to remote arm/disarm monitoring and an indicator to show if the camera system is armed (being monitored) or not. Sometimes when I leave my work premises, I don't know if I've set the cameras to monitor or not.

Despite a good Internet connection with WiFi boosters, the cameras appear as "offline" more times than they're actually online. Problems with playback either nothing there or only a few hours of recorded video. For the price of the cameras and having them installed, you would expect to have an app that actually works! update may 7th 2025 the app is still not working!!
