This app is intended for basic, advanced and professional users who can connect their smartphones to the Madoka controller using Bluetooth low energy technology.

Thanks to the Madoka assistant app, the users will have access to an intuitive and user-friendly interface to configure the Madoka controller, hence easier and time saving setting and commissioning.

Basic users can use the app to control all basic parameters of their system in a visually appealing interface.

Advanced users can also use the app to monitor and control the unit operation. Moreover, they will have access to more advanced settings such as date, time and setback.

Professional users will have additional access to extended features related to commissioning and maintenance. You can configure all parameters of the system without hassle and are able to mirror settings to multiple controllers, saving time in the process.

Note: for the Human Comfort Interface (BRC1HHDA*), the app only allows updating the firmware of the controller. No other functionality is available.

Old version worked fine for years. They did a massive overhaul of the app and now it never connects and I cannot access any settings on the office air con. Wouldn't be a problem if there was any other way to get to the settings but there isn't because of a stupid minimal design wall-mounted unit with just 3 buttons.

Too bad this is the only app you can use for Daikin controller. The pairing is not difficult, getting the app to actually do aomething useful is the challenge. Sometimes the app doesn't talk to the controller even you are standing right in front of it. I have two controllers, i can only set schedule for one, while the second one refuses to accept any instructions - just keep telling you to add an action but refuse to save any instuctions you enter. I can only give up

A key thing missing from this app is the ability to search for a specific device by name. I am living in a block of flats all with the same Madoka installed in each flat, so the nearby devices list is flooded and filled with all other devices in the building. EDIT: changed to 4* as able to connect and use, but the name of my device came up as BMC when trying to connect despite the panel showing it as XX:XX:XX. Had to connect to each device one by one and see if it was mine!
