ClearSpend is the smarter way to control your business spending. The NatWest ClearSpend mobile app gives you complete control of your Commercial Card account.

Registration
It only takes a couple of minutes to get started on NatWest ClearSpend. Simply download the App and click ‘Need to register’ and then follow the onscreen instructions. Please note, the Business or Commercial Card account will need to be registered and activated before cardholder users can register.
NatWest ClearSpend is available to eligible NatWest Business and Commercial Card account customers with compatible Android devices and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries. Over 18s only, other terms and conditions apply.

Can't even log in half of the time after the recent update. The metrics they show don't even make sense and aren't useful. The amount of control the user has is very minimal. Hard to get in contact with customer support. Overall this app (and the business banking from NatWest in general) is dreadful. Will be switching over to a different credit card company asap!

Like very many of the reviews, "something went wrong" pops up every time you try to download a statement. This is literally the only function I want from this app. I note Natwest responding to these reviews with the same word for word response about emailing in for support. Can't you just make it work for everyone rather than just those that email in?

Update 2023 - this is still horrible. Simple web functionality has been sacrificed in favour of shiny buttons and a pretty looking app on a phone. Not fit for purpose. View some pointless graphs? tick! Natwest branding? smashed it! Nice colours? got it! Download historic transactions so they can be used in a spreadsheet for accounting purposes? umm. didn't think of that one. Do businesses need to account for their spending? surely that's optional. And boring. Pretty colours! things that move!
