Disney Heroes: Battle Mode

I've played this game virtually since it was released. Enjoyable, visually interesting, fun gameplay if somewhat repetitive. However, the latest evolution of the game as seen it become another pay to play type, with characters only available for cash, limiting the amount of players who can afford them. And the way to get free ones has been reduced to chance. So only two stars, until the game comes back to its roots.

Game has some really good concepts and mechanics and it's fun to play. It is however obscenely pay to win and they churn out updates(level increase) too fast to keep you spending. There's no real attempt to balance the hero pool either, some heroes are completely broken and used by everyone in the top of arena and this doesn't change till a more broken one is released.

Where do I start. I have been playing mobile phone games for years looking for that one game that would really pique my interest and this game does that. It has around 50 heroes to chose from that expands every month or so. Not only are the "good" Disney characters collectable, some of the well known Disney villains are being introduced. Some people may be put of by how slow the game starts, as well as how the game plays. If you did not know the heroes would fight automatically where the user would only be able to control each of the heroes special skill,(or that can be set to be used automatically). In my opinion I feel that anyone who tries out this game should at least reach level 30 to activate the speed multiplier. At this point the fights will not be as boring as before. There are only two issues that I have with the game at the moment. The first being that I have been experiencing this bug where the resolution of the game changes so the interface is not correctly being displayed on my screen. (This only occurs when I press the task manager button on my phone, as I have a ln android phone). The second issue that I have with the game is one of the weekend events that is regularly occurring. And that event is the one where you can only get points through using normal stamina and spending gems. In my opinion, I think the event should not even exist as it is not friendly to the free to play playerbase. The points that one would earn from using stamina is so small that you are practically forced to save as much stamina recharges for these events or pay for more stamina with gems which should be saved and used on more important items or events. If anything I would love to see that the point reward for using stamina to be increased to allow free to play users to reacher the first and second checkpoint just by using the given mana efficiently. Obviously there are other ways that the events can be changed to be more attainable for the entire playerbase. However I am just one person so my issues may just be personal. If possible would you be able to tease the weekend event a day or two earlier so we can prepare for it instead of wasting resources just before.
