Hey Starbucks, how about adding other payment options, like Google Wallet. Maybe I don't want to interact with anyone in the store, or maybe I don't want another company having my payment info on file, or maybe I just want to pay the exact amount instead of adding to a virtual gift card in predetermined amounts 2x, 3x, 4x the amount of the cost of my order. If customer loyalty depends on your customers having OCD about having a balance on a gift card to bring them back, your model is flawed.

I installed the app and loaded some money into the digital card before heading to a vacation. The first time I wanted to use the wallet, my whole account got flagged for potential fraud, and all the money in my wallet got removed! It has been more than 3 weeks, and I have multiple calls with customer service to get my funds back with no avail. I feel robbed by Starbucks. Didn't expect this terrible experience.

The app has really gone down hill recently. It used to be pretty great with frequent promotions to earn extra points but they've practically quit doing those. I've started spending a lot less money here because of this as I have been frequenting other coffee shops with lower prices and better rewards.
