Good hardware. Lousy app. The settings appear to have no Save or Back function. So navigating into say System to change timezone or add a new wireless configuration doesn't let you out other than by closing the app which doesn't save. It lacks any obvious delete camera option so you can't remove a broken configuration by making a new one (other than presumably reinstalling the app). And it makes it impossible to set sensitivity. There is absolutely no point having software as poor as this.

Dear Customer, there's no need to close the app to change the timezone or adjust settings. To delete a camera, tap the ellipsis button next to it. Sensitivity can be adjusted in the camera settings. Recent update has forced you to create an account, accepting a bunch of unncessary data gathering, but also made the app forget the cameras I had. When you add a camera, it forces you to format it, otherwise it won't add. Further, the app seems broken, as to add the camera I have to connect to the camera's wifi, but the app will not have Internet access to do this if I switch from data. BlackVue are risky to use as they evidently push out breaking changes. I couldn't access a needed recording.

What a terrible app. Tried to connect, and then had to update app. Why does app need my location? Now have to create an account so BlackVue can know what I had for breakfast and my bathroom patterns! Then I try to connect via wifi, tried 3 times and then switched to Bluetooth. Bluetooth finds camera but can't verify it even with me touching the left side as instructed. I give up. Looks like the only way to get my videos is to take the card out. Previous app worked fine, without all the spyware.
