The app concept is excellent though it gives some errors but works after retrying, BUT BEWARE MANY DRIVERS ARE SCAMMERS! They will try to take a longer route due to it being faster or to avoid tolls which are mostly cheap but they will say like it's 500+ lira, or they may start with a non-zeroed taximete. Also, you should know that the driver is the one who puts the trip fare at the end so pay attention to the meter beforehand. It's just better to agree before any trip about the fare and route.

As Uber is banned this is the best (maybe only) option for Istanbul and it's still not very good. Very often the app will fail to locate any taxis yet all around you there are taxis with the app logo (this is a big problem at Istanbul airport). I suspect the drivers don't want to use the app as it's offering cheaper fares so they make themselves unavailable. I've also had drivers refuse to take card when my card is linked to the app and I chose card payment for the ride. So always double check!

Scam.AVOID AT ALL COST. This is an app that promotes scamming practices from drivers in Istanbul. I recently had a terrible experience where I was charged 760 TL (about Ā£20) for a 10 minute ride to the airport while the day before I was charged only 320 TL. More than double! This isn't all. I processed my payment through my debit card and the system DID NOT recognise the payment and I was forced to pay AGAIN while being pushed by the driver and a phone agent to pay again. Ā£40 and NO refund yet!
