Words Collide

I don't tend to leave reviews much but this is such a nice game! I love word games, they're most of what I play. This calm, the fact there's no ads is the reason I've actually been happy to spend a bit of money on it. It's multi player but in a way that helps eachother, I like that. Competitive multiplayer is fun but this is refreshing too, I really like the interface and the aesthetic. It's all really nicely done.

Fun, but scoring is a little funky. I love the upgrading and style, the game modes and co-operative. Genuinely a 5 star game until you realise that the challenge and reward of scoring big words is unnecessary for big scores. Cascades are easier to get and score more. I got a 2.8m score in one turn with a 16x cascade, which is impossible via long words. Perhaps if cascades and big words both combined, eg a 13 letter word that turns into a 5x cascade should score more than a 10x cascade.

This game does not have any other way to collect coins so you have to play the boring zen single player mode over and over again to unlock features (yeah sounds pretty dumb), another game modes (yep) and some additional stuffs. It could be 10 times better instead of just casually sticking with blood-sucking format like every other trashy games in the store. What a shame and a waste of potential tho.
