NOTEPAD

At first I thought this was a great app: simple, elegant and very useful. BUT...having used it for about a week now, several times it has overwritten one of the 12 locations with the contents of another (without me doing it), thus losing what was stored there. THIS MUST BE FIXED!!

It's fine, this is the free version. They don't collect your data. There are no ads. Also to upgrade you have to purchase a separate app and not upgrade in app, which supports Play's Family Library feature. But the free app doesn't give you too much, and this app didn't fit my specific needs which is outside basic note taking. But I appreciate their business practices, and will give them a fair rating for doing so.

Fantastic app, so easy to use, even with the free version, I find it so handy for "on the go" lists or reminders. Use it on all my phones. Highly recommended.
