In the grim darkness of the near future, there are only cute anime girls. Except that's not true. Beneath the surface of anime art and gacha systems, there's a lot more to enjoy here. The story is far more thought-provoking, engaging and well-written than you might expect; battle mechanics and RPG elements are surprisingly deep and satisfying; the core gameplay ranges from simple and relaxing to very challenging (and potentially competitive). Very frequent updates, a fair F2P model, and a generous new player experience all round out a very enjoyable game that needn't eat up a lot of your time (unless you want it to). Negatives are nitpicks at best; difficulty can spike at times; t-doll balance is all over the place; progress can be grindy or RNG-dependant once you step outside the "early game" phase. Overall, highly recommended.

I said I'd love to give this game more stars and I have, since for some reason, when my phone updated recently all the instability issues I had with this game vanished. It plays rather smoothly now, has a pretty fair gacha, and has a compelling story with interesting and likeable characters. I just hope the updates have mysteriously been fixed too. Sometimes they fail, and you end up spending hours repeatedly retrying until it finally works. Overall though, good game!

The game won't install, getting that insufficient memory bug. Please fix. Now I'm stuck in a tutorial loop? Now some stages don't even work, got some UI overlay bug that stops me interacting with the game. It won't fix after restarting the app or my phone. I'm a new player today btw. This is unfortunate as I wanted to get into the game, guess I'll wait for Girls Frontline 2.
