Works but scams you a little. There is a limit of only ten cards in the free version and after you have invested the time to add them, you can either pay a huge sum (some 13pounds plus) or just get stuck, as you cannot even delete what you scanned. I hate the fact that they do this, and on principle moving on to something else from the mirror of alternatives.

Hi Yanni, quite surprised here!I only get 350 chars to reply so have to be brief !It is SUPER clear that you get 10 trial scans, nothing hidden here.We decided against selling data or having adverts and Covve Scan is the cheapest of all major players.Then,if you don't want to pay you can always export your cards, you're not stuck.Filika, Alexandros

This app has the most accurate ocr scanning of the several that I tested. That's why I bought the Lifetime license. The downside is that it does not scan/convert business cards in other languages. I travel internationally a lot and have contacts from asia, south america, europe and the scanner does not convert any other language to english as I expected. Perhaps the scanner can be updated to accurately capture multiple languages as described. Awesome app for english only contacts. 5/5.

Hi Jim, thanks for the feedback! It does scan all languages but I gather you'd want it to translate them as well. I wonder which fields - perhaps the job title? Because name, company, address, phone, email etc aren't translatable? Do let me know! All the best, Alex (cofounder)

When I first installed the app about 2 years ago, the free scans were unlimited. I opened it recently to find out my "trial subscription" expired and I don't have any more free scans. Bummer. I don't use it enough to pay. Guess I'll be finding a new app.
