I've played the game for 3 weeks, investing around ยฃ40, my players level is around 1200, and currently playing in the Copper league (Tier 3/10). The average players rating whether bots or not is around 1000, so paying into the game you would believe you're at a slight advantage to progress with a better character and equipment, Wrong! you're matched against players that are rated up to 3000 and lose matches off abilities more than skill, clearly pushing you to invest more. disappointed ๐

Game starts off easy enough, but once you rank up a few leagues you are suddenly paired against opponents that have double or sometimes triple the rating that you have. Said opponents also have the speed of a thousand blue hedgehogs so everything will be returned. Equipment upgrades are not frequent enough to keep up with opponent power spikes. Also this is not a multi-player game, you are always playing bots. I have never had a opponent disconnect, or had to wait for them to skip cutscenes.

Game starts well. Most matches are winnable if you are playing well with the odd one that might catch you out. However, then things take a change. You are suddenly faced against much higher level opponents than you. They move round the court so incredibly fast that wherever you hit the ball they can return it. Before when their player came to the net you could find ways to loft the ball over the opponent. But that becomes impossible now because the opponent is too fast so always returns it
