In-app purchases haven't granted me the items twice in a row now, reported the first time and got a refund a bit ago, but it just happened again today. This is on top of numerous other glitches, one that freezes on the loading screen at 35% and happened 3 times in a row to me, or when the game shows the background for a puzzle but not the puzzle itself, and never loads the puzzle no matter how long you wait, neopass makes me sign in frequently, between moves sometimes.. It's way too glitchy.

A fun match-3 game with a Neopets skin, which I found appealing having grown up with the original site. Sadly, after a while (a LOT later than that Monster Hunter one), it succumbs to a maddening difficulty spike, leading to burning through items, coins, and lives in quick succession. The frequent 'connection lost' issues don't help, either. Only thing that's kept me going are the Neopets item rewards - once those are obtained, I'll be dropping this game. Kinda thankful I didn't drop money on it

The game has nice art and sound effects. The gameplay is pretty standard for its genre and designed in a lab to be addictive. It's the technical issues that really hold it back. I was unable to play for over a week due to server issues (I had to submit a ticket) and even now that it's fixed, the game loses connection between every round. So it ends up taking 10 minutes to get to the next round constantly telling the game to try reconnecting. Be prepared to lose progress often, this games a mess.
