Was just trying out the trial before i properly signed up. The voice recognition is quite bad. it confuses the sound of B with V whilst I was trying the vietnamese. multiple times, I tested it by just saying one word, which is ba, but time and time again, it kept thinking I'm pronouncing và. made no sense considering 2 very different words. I'll hold off on paying for it, knowing it's clearly not there yet. This is an easy fix for the developers.

I would probably give this a 1, but most will skip over the angry 1 star ratings. Set up is for Romance or Germanic; not Arabic, Urdu, Hindi. Poor teaching of sounds, alphabet, structure. No visual queues. Very frustrating. Irritating narrator. "Say, I speak a little. Now remember structure, chocolate is good, summertime 7." After he rambles on, you forget the original question. No break in between to be able to respond. You have to pause the program. Natives speak too fast; no way to alter it.

Focused on listening, which it does excellently. Personally I found it difficult that I can only read the lesson content after the audio lesson, but after doing it for a while I recognise that it has a learning effect to first try to figure something out by only listening to it. One thing I wish was better is to practice specific sets of vocabulary that I choose rather than to practice the whole lesson content. It is possible to save specific vocabulary but it's not easy to practise that set.
