Edited. All working as expected now after getting serwisant in to set up thermostat. Now the humming noise is gone - nobody told me it would be the solution. Feedback: let people know that setting up thermostat requires visit from professionals upfront : ) Regarding app use , Hive has better features like diagram to show when burner went off and for how long it did at the time. Vicare only shows amount of gas in bar chart. Not very useful.

There has been an update to the software and the app lost connection. (Feb 2025). To solve had to uninstall and then reinstall the app. The app itself is a bit clunky and could be improved greatly. Having to through 3 screens to turn heating off and on is not a good user experience.

After recent maintenance my app and system failed to communicate. Both system and app were connected to internet on the same network. The app stated heating system is not connected to the internet. Following advice to restart the system it didn't help, uninstalling and reinstalling the app didn't help. I deactivated WiFi and connected back from scratch, which seems to have resolved the issue. Customer service never mentioned this option. It needs significant improvement.
