I've used speech assistant for years. While I'm sad that this has fallen behind uts iOS counterpart it's still a very functional app. However, what would be nice if a desktop emulation environment that could be used to build boards. Building custom boards is really the hardest party of using this, and while typing is possible and great having phrases ready at hand is pretty useful. I tried editing a backup file but that was very confusing.

I have now had the free app for almost a year, and used all the features. Very well thought out and user friendly. I am a speech impaired mouth cancer patient, and this is superior to other apps I tried. Probably worth upgrading to the not very expensive paid for version. Update - I am about to upgrade as it seems very good value. Excellent app.

I'm adhd and autistic and struggle to communicate a lot of the time. This app is easy to use and customisable. I bought the full version as its worth it. Some potential improvements: An option to press and hold on icons to rearrange them Be able to split each category into mini categories/folders that could be at the top of each category. Like it would open all of the food category like normal but have folders at the top to click on if you wanted like takeaway, desserts, breakfast etc
