The map online is way better than on the app. The boxes location on the app are way to big and if zoomed out they cover up the map so hard to see where you are roughly. Also why not make the boxes you already tapped different colour? Its confusing and dont know where to go sometimes and ended up doing the same ones multiple times so wasting time overall. And as others have pointed out, the map is well laggy

Dreadful!! The app hardly ever knows where I am because it doesn't track me, so doesn't collect so called 'Gems'. Its slow and 'laggy'. Its power hungry in the extreme. It thinks I'm driving every time I attempt to collect points at a beat box, even though I selected cycling. It absolutely sucks the joy out of taking part in a wonderful community game. Incredibly poorly, badly, horribly constructed app. Abandoned it today halfway through a ride, and I doing that, abandoned half the game.

Hi Barry, sorry to hear you had trouble with the app. Can we check your location settings are set to "always on"? That's required to get the full app functionality. We're working on improving battery use and the driving prompts at the moment so appreciate your feedback.

A faulty mess! Typical of any app made by or for any council, its an absolute mess. the app hardly works on GPS as well as the fact that it does not actually read NFC cards. The app regularly logs you out even when you are looking actively at the map. After logging me out the app wouldn't allow me to log back into my family account, losing all progress. Considering young people are the ones encouraged to use the app, the faults will actively discourage any user from reloggng in or continued use
