About this app

Key features of the Business Banking App:

• Fast and secure log in with Android Fingerprint.
• View and search transactions in real time.
• Quickly pay existing contacts.

You can use this app if:

• you are an existing business current account customer with maximum 12 accounts
• you already use The Co-operative Bank Business Online Banking; and
• you don’t have anyone set up as an approver of changes, i.e. payment approvals.

Gaining access

To gain access to our app you will need to register and agree to our Business Online Banking Terms and Conditions if you haven’t already done so and our Business Mobile Banking Service Terms and Conditions. Once you have done so, you will need your Customer ID, User ID and HID Approve mobile security app or physical plastic security token.

Is my phone compatible?

For security reasons, you’ll need a compatible device and operating system to use our Business Banking App.

You’ll need a device running Android version 7 or above. If you are not able to update to this version, you can log into The Co-operative Bank Business Online Banking to access your accounts.

Terms of use

We collect non-personal user data to monitor how well the app works. For example, measuring how long you spend on a particular screen. We collect a limited amount of personal data to allow you to use the app, for fraud prevention purposes and to help us to fix problems and improve the app for everyone. Everyone is opted in to this feature. If you do not want us to process your personal data in this way, please delete the app. If you download the app, you consent to sharing how you use it. Find out more about how we use this in our Privacy Policy, available within the app.

Staying safe

To protect our customers we use a range of security measures including the latest encryption technology.

There are still a few things you can do to protect yourself using the app.

Remember to:

• only download the app from official app stores
• never share your login details with anyone
• keep your details out of sight when logging on in a public place
• always install the latest security and operating system updates.

Please note:

We won’t charge you for downloading or using the app. However, your mobile network provider may charge you for data use, depending on your tariff or contract. Contact your operator for details. You may also use this service when connected to a Wi-Fi network.

This app and bank is so bad. Update: I don't understand why this bank doesn't show the entire history of transactions, its so unhelpful and I've never seen any bank do this. You're unable to add a new payee on the app, which is also ridiculous. The two factor authentication should just be a text only, requiring another app for a code to log in is so overboard, especially for smaller companies who don't need that amount of unnecessary precaution. It's too long winded. Very bad bank

The app would be great if it actually had the features you want. It works, but only on a basic level. It would be at least a 4 star app if it had other features. It desperately needs the option to see your whole payment history as on the website version. It also fails badly in that you can't make foreign payments or add payees, two things that are one of the most basic things you would want to use an app for. At least I can't find any such functionality. Please improve this Co-op, it's so close!

The incredibly limited functionality was at least an upgrade on the awful web-based online business banking service. Fingerprint ID was very convenient too, I thought... Until the forced update meant it refused to sign me in with fingerprint recognition, and made me re-enter all my details, which I was then told were invalid. Currently 45 minutes into a queue to speak to someone on the phone. Again. Update: Why on earth do they limit your transactions to just the past month!? Useless app.
