Wow, this game sure changed. Used to be a nice little 90s 2d pixel arty game about trench warfare. Now its been completely overhauled into a card based strategy game. So far i think i like it, but I do miss the old 90s style that it left. I genuinely didnt expect it to change in its dev path, and i thought it would stick with the nice little retro style. Impressive amounts of work must've been done to completely overhaul the gameplay, graphics and add the card element and even it out. Im impressed, but i think it just isnt as good as it used to be.

I used to love this game, I think over the last year or two I put over 100hours into this game. It had a charming, basic but interesting aesthetic and the gameplay was challenging and addictive. (The 2D tug of war game) Since they have updated the game with much better if somewhat boring 2.5D graphics and have turned the game from Tug of War style to a very generic and boring card lane based base attack. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I wish the developers the best of luck and I hope they learn more as they continue shame they ruined such a great product for me.

What ever happened to the 8 bit game I cherished and loves? If you want to make a new game, make a damn new one! Leave the old one be! Points deducted due to this. That said, I like the new one, the mechanics are all right, but you need to make something with the crates. Either make them cheaper, or give more gold per ad watched. And is it really necessary to cap the ad watch to such a low number? If things do not change, a fair few people will uninstall (myself included). I do not enjoy pay per play at best, less so when it is a clear rip off...
