Eldrum: Untold, Text-Based RPG

Don't know which one cane first, I played red tide before seeing this one. Excellent story and design as red tide, but I hate the combat on this one. Not a fan of all of the live time things as someone with reflex issues and disabilities 😅 They're not as interesting without the art and having to focus on the circle makes it harder to see HP. more stressful to play. Hope future games (because I am hoping there are future games, definitely a fan if this developer now) adopt the red tide combat

A beautifully atmospheric game. The story and lore are deep and gripping, with some excellent writing. The minimalist artwork and bleak soundtrack work very well. I like the menu and battle system a lot - you're given the opportunity to think carefully about your next choice. There is also definitely a replayability factor here, with different character builds and play styles available, plus multiple endings to the story.

One of the best text adventures i've ever played. The incorporation of RPG elements with a choose your own adventure work great, you truly have almost full control over your character and how the story unfolds, after finishing the demo i couldn't help but buy the rest, my only issue would probably have to be the length, after buying the full version and trying to complete as much as possible in a single run i only found it lasted around 4 hours, still a great game, fingers crossed for a sequel.
