I've been playing the kingdom Rush games from the beginning and this one is no less engaging and entertaining than the others! This one is quite different from it's predecessors, and the tower and upgrade system is quite different, but I do like it, though I think I prefer the system of the previous games more. worth playing though, just feels a lot different!

Ironhide have done it again with another amazing entry to the series. Its just as charmful and humorous as the the previous 3 Kingsom Rush games, which new and old players will love. However the fact that this is the most expensive Kingdom Rush to date, coupled with the fact that FIVE towers are locked behind a paywall is ridiculous in a tower defence game. Where the core of the game is coming up with different strategies using different towers. Having heros locked behind paywalls was fine in the past and still is, as the free ones are more than capable of beating everything in the game. Purchasing these heros was a nice way of supporting the developers more whilst not effecting gameplay in a huge way. To purchase all towers and heros along with the base game will cost $30, which will never be worth it for a mobile game. Ironhide have fallen into the microtransaction trap, along with many other once great developers, now turned greedy. Disappointed. A simple solution would be to change the "premium towers" to cost a large amount of in game currency. This gives the player the choice to grind for them or to pay for them. Having them completely locked from the game unless you spend extra is the problem here.

Hi Mason, in KRV you have more towers than in the previous KR. Now you unlock them by playing and this time you are able to make all the combinations you want. The premium ones are just extras if you want to experiment more.

Love the Kingdom Rush games but it only gets 4 stars as the majority of heroes and some towers are kept behind paywalls. When I buy a mobile game I want the whole package, not just the right to play through the base game. Extra purchases work with AAA games through the depth of the content that is provided (most of the time) but asking for, what can only be described as, extortionate prices for certain things makes me very disappointed. Some items cost more than the base game itself!
