I really do like the locals service. And the offering for creators is good. Unfortunately things seems to have taken a rather disappointing turn. They are introducing a mandatory requirement to register for some other different service. Sadly I think this may be the beginning of the end if Locals ends up turning into another bloatware service. They would do better to help creators get more income from subscriptions, coins and features which would lead to increased income for them.

Update: I've deducated a star as there are no settings to change wether the timestamp on the video shows time left vs time watched. I can't stand the "time left" being default. The functionality and usability of the app has recently become a lot smoother. No longer does this app curse me with its auto rotate being on regardless of my phone settings, it actually behaves as it should in that way now. Nice job Locals devs, tbh it took way too long to fix the rotate thing, but at least its now done

DOWN SOUTH!
I've been using this app for some time now and overall it's been good. it wasn't until a little over a week ago I've been having buffering issues. it got worse after the last update; even with me having full bars 5G signal. I've tried everything from restarting my phone, resetting the app, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, lowering the resolution to 360, etc. I've also played other apps like YouTube and they don't buffer. is there a bandwidth issue with Locals?
