It's more broken than any of the other mobile Sonic games. It frequently won't register a swipe and I'll die. I have a screen recorder that records my taps & swipes and I can prove I swiped down, but the game didn't register it and I died. Happens almost every minute or so, and doesn't happen in any of the other sonic apps that are almost the same, or any other app on my phone. I'd love to see this fixed, trying to get Shadow in the current mine event is nearly impossible because of this.

This is a great game. It does feel like a beta version of Sonic Dash with bad music. I can see what they were trying to do - give every character special abilities, one of the few downsides with the vastly superior Sonic Dash. But the game itself is strangely structured. You can be playing as Sonic one minute who is maxed up and then accidentally switch to that weird version of Knuckles with no maxed up abilities. While it's fun to run around avoiding obstacles like in Sonic Dash, the end of level 'character switch' can get tiresome (but then, it's not half as bad as those tedious boss rounds in Sonic Dash). Having ring and dash points separated is a good idea. I don't see the point of having to collect all rewards yourself, unless it's to increase the chance of accidentally tapping an ad? Sadly, this idea has spread to Sonic Dash. There are moments in the game where my reactions are faster than the game is capable of computing. So I'll swipe to avoid an obstacle and nothing happens, a nano-second will pass, it'll go to move and I'll crash. Sometimes, just as you finish dashing, you'll fall down a hole. They don't seem to disappear like the obstacles when coming out of dash mode. All in all great game with a lot of small issues that probably only bother me.

It's not as good as the original. But, I finished that for all intents and purposes. I still think they could have done loads more with the original but they have only updated it to make it pointless to continue playing. This game itself is less goal orientated which I dislike. Developers appear to have lost the plot with games these days. Especially a Sonic game. These were great because they actually had an 'end'. You could finish them and there was a point to it.
