These guys at SS have really lost their way since the original City Island game and City Island games. They seem to think how their social media profiles and how they look in photoshoots are more important than actually writing something "new". They just bring out the same game, chuck a few new graphics in and call it City Island X or take an old game, re-vamp it with new graphics and give it a new name like they did with this one. This is OK, but it's essentially City Island 3 (which was the best by far), but you'll get bored with it unless you've got a ton of real cash to spend. I filled the islands up, just got bored collecting keys and cash, no new buildings, no new islands. They put in totally useless feature calling them "enhancements" while ignoring peoples requests for fixes and little things to make the game easier, such as ONLY SHOW SNOW BUILDING on a SNOW ISLAND for example. The support staff are nothing short of useless now, I've had an issue with my account on City Island 3 and despite numerous e-mails still not sorted. I expect they are just reading off a script and anything more complicated than "How do I get more gold?" just messes them up. This is a classic example of a once good gaming company writing decent games gone to pot because they're more interested in the Euros rather than the gaming experience itself. I know they have to make a profit, but there is a balance between good games and "pay to win" apps and this is has gone down the pay to win route.

Hi Greg, Sorry that you feel this way. Different games have different varieties and different types of buildings and land region to develop. We do agree that the strategies involved in the game are quite similar, but all the games have few differences as well. I'm enjoying the game so far. Love the fantasy element of the game. It's very difficult to get certain items to move the game forward but watching an advert can help. Very happy so far. Update! Why isn't the resident/worker count not working. Neither is adding onto the total to earn additional keys etc??

Omg this game is so addictive. Very colourful and relaxing. On the start bit to much chaos but once you are set in the game you go with your flow. Great fun for those which likes sims kind of experience. You build houses and work places based in theme of the island you are on. You unlock more areas with different themes. Very pleasant for the eyes highly reccomend
