The app is useless. if you change device without changing phone number they do not allow you to buy tickets anymore. They just ask you to get in touch by email with the support and they take forever to answer (still no answer after 4 days). Definitely not useful when you are in a rush to get the tram . Also despite the fact that I am not using the app at the moment (because I cannot), my system is informing me that the app us draining the battery.

I wanted to buy a 10-ticket bundle through the app. I tried twice and the app is not showing any tickets on my account. I did not get any error message on my bank's app when authorising the payment, nor on De Lijn's app. I am waiting to see if I will be charged at all and I will be asking for a refund in case I am. By the way, you should be able to pay with your card on the bus (just by tapping on the machine) but that doesn't work either, and it is not possible to buy tickets from the driver.

I am appalled by the unreliability and inefficiency of public transport and its inability to provide a decent alternative to the car. Even more so given the current climate crisis. App: busses are not shown in chronological order, all routes are marked as unavailable when there are detours, ... Edit: still not working. Doesn't even show alternative routes. Better to use Google maps.
