GETTING STARTED
If you’re already a Business Internet Banking customer, you’ll need your:
• Business Internet Banking login details
• Card and card reader

If you don’t have an account with us yet, you can apply via the app if:
• You’re at least 18 years old
• You’re a UK resident
• You’re a sole trader or director of the business
• Your business has an annual turnover of £25m or less

If you have a limited company:
• It must have been registered with Companies House for at least four days
• The Companies House register must not have changed in the past four days
• It must have an ‘active’ status on the Companies House register
If you’re not registered for online banking yet, please visit our website.

KEEPING YOU SAFE ONLINE
We use the latest online security to protect your money, your information and your privacy. Our app checks your details, your device and its software for security before you log in. If your phone is lost or stolen, we can block it from being used to try and access your accounts.

Fingerprint Logon requires a compatible mobile running Android 6.0 or higher and may not currently work on some tablets.

Hope the developers read these comments!!!! Latest update of app is slow to validate the user at login and similarly slow to switch between accounts once in app. Slow on more than one device and also for my wife who also uses the app on her phone. Another annoying issue about redesign on Android devices is that the header inside the app (HBOS navy blue) now encroaches on the ribbon running across the top of an android screen so you cannot see the time, signal strength or battery % etc.

Update review Nov 2018 The app has improved. Marginally. It fails to launch on numerous occasions. Unlike other banking apps this one launches very slowly. Crashes frequently. Really poor effort at this and clearly not fully tested. Original review posted in 2014: If you mistype your password you're taken to a new screen and prompted to re enter. Fine. But the new soft keyboard offered doesn't offer the chance to enter capital letters!! This is a *bank* for heavens sake... didn't anyone test this app thoroughly before releasing it to the Play store!?!

Spent 30 mins on phone trying to find out why you can't actually authorise payments using the app, despite a screenshot saying you can. After getting doublespeak from the handler and being told that a payment isn't a purchase, blah, blah, I gave up. A system that still needs a card reader is useless. Fingerprint authentication should be enough. Pathetic.
